funny colored feet

I'm developing my chaco tans again, and the Indian girls find this hilarious. They make fun of my strange tan lines and my "different skin tones". But they also tell me that I'm nice and they like me, so that's good. I think God is providing me friendship through children. Which I can handle. If that's where I feel loved, that's okay with me. I can live with that.

Yesterday I went to Pride in Chicago. I want to write about it, but I just don't stinking have time to think it out. It was a special experience though, and one I will not soon forget. God is teaching me so many things...

For the moment I just really need your prayers that I will stay well. Allergies are threatening to overtake me. Though, as I was so kindly informed, I can handle sickness if Jesus sends it my way, I would really just rather not have to. I'm tired already and I'm mostly in good spirits this week and need Satan's attacks to fail. I really don't want to fight this battle- there are others that could use my energy much more.

Finally, I want to encourage all of you to be praying for all the All-State kids back in Mississippi. Who are actually traveling to S Carolina right now I think. I'm hearing great things from them via text every day which really makes me miss the community All-State once provided for me. Audrey even says people are noticing that we're look-alikes. So fun! I love everything about that choir. My life would certainly be different without it, if for no other reason than I would probably have never been friends with Ammie and Bailey, which would've drastically changed my world. God is awesome. I'm amazed. So yeah...pray for those guys and their travel time and fellowship time. It's important.

Love you kids. Hope you're celebrating fun random holidays with Aly and the rest of us!
