One day Shmallison was on facebook. I know that's surprising to you because of her great work ethic and the fact that she rarely darkens the proverbial doors of the social network that is facebook. But it happened. And as she was looking around she noticed something! Definitely Not Kevin, who hadn't responded to text messages of her or many others in the past months was online! Well, she thought to herself, maybe I'll say something to him...

Shmallison: I caught you!
Definitely Not Kevin (DNK): ooh...dang it. i was about to get offline.
Shmallison: better luck next time.
DNK:did i ever give you that thing you wanted?
Shmallison: ???
DNK: you wanted my address or something.
Shmallison: no. ya didn't. text it to me
DNK: texting it is hard. is there another option?
Shmallison: really now? fine. send it to me in FB msg
DNK: ok.
And so the conversation continued for a few minutes and in the end it was decided that Not Kevin would call Shmallison around mid-day on the upcoming weekend, and DNK even acknowledged the fact that Shmallison would certainly rag on him a LOT if he should forget to call.
And today, on Sunday afternoon, Shmallison is still waiting for that not-so-inevitable call.
The Moral of the story is: Elephants never forget. But you do.
