I was thinking today that many times I see the Lord work and then I don't really give Him the credit that is due for the prayers He answers. So I decided to share with bloggyworld some of the cool things God has done lately.
1. PPB Ceili! We funded this thing and saved 13 lives. I doubted. Praise God He is faithful when I am not. He answered our prayers!
2. Restored relationships! There are a few friends I've been in a weird place with, but God has brought healing and restoration and has really taught me to love where I was instead being selfish and impatient. What a great teacher I have in the Holy Spirit.
3. Africa! I mean, really?! I'm going to Africa! He has provided more confirmation than is even necessary and has clearly paved the way for me to move to Malawi in August. The process has only begun, but I am confident that He will see it through.
4. Renewed passion. Okay, this is still fluctuating at times, but God has really increased my desire for Him and His Word. I have some incredible accountability that is helping me with this, but I really feel like I'm moving in a good direction instead of being stagnant and grouchy. And He gave me a passage I desired to memorize, which is exciting.
5. I don't know what to title this one, but a friend of mine who was formerly incredibly apathetic toward the gospel and Christ has expressed interest in reading the Bible. This makes my heart happy.
6. Well, suffice it to say that my God is great. He pursues me and loves me and sings over me. He loves me through the grouchy days, but is not content to let me remain there. He rescues me from me. He is good. His faithful love endures forever. :)
